It’s hard to believe that we’re already wrapping up another school year for our kids here at Or Chadash and in the public school system. Our school supply donations to Los Ranchitos School make a huge difference in the children’s lives. Please see if you have any extras at home that you could send to the office for the children, as they are trying to make what they have last until the end of the year!

   Please join us for our April 6th meeting. We’ll have a short business meeting, then, we are extremely pleased to announce, Rabbi Louchheim will be the guest speaker. We are not sure what his topic is, so come and be surprised.

   We are working on a paid member tea; details are in the works. In June, we will have our annual retreat and this year we are planning a pool party at Nancy O’Neill’s home. Stay tuned for further information.

   A portion of the proceeds of Gift Shop sales are donated to the Congregation and the Religious School. Last year our Hebrew School received $1,000.

   Sisterhood supports Los Ranchitos Elementary School, providing needed school supplies and other items to support students whose families are, for the most part, living in poverty.
   Los Ranchitos’ principal, Kathleen Bethel, gratefully welcomes pens, pencils, notebooks, crayons, protractors, children’s underwear, socks, blankets to keep the kids warm in portable classrooms, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and healthy snacks.
