Congregation Or Chadash is excited to announce that Tim Boling, a congregant and active leader in the Tucson Jewish community, will become our first executive director. He recently served as Campus Director for Council House at Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging in Tucson and will begin working full time at Or Chadash in mid- December.

   Tim and his wife, Kim, have been long-time members of Or Chadash, and they have two children, Ellie, a 3rd-grader, and Jaden, a 1st- grader. Both children are active Or Chadash religious school students. Kim Boling is the principal of Ventana Vista Elementary School in Catalina Foothills.

   Tim’s arrival is an important step in our continued commitment to meet the needs of our members and maintain a welcoming atmosphere, especially as we strive to build a physical place to call our home. He will oversee the administrative functions of the Congregation to allow our clergy to focus more on observing and celebrating the spiritual and related events that build a Jewish life. This structure will enable us to preserve the intimacy and sense of community that has always defined Or Chadash.

    In his previous duties, Tim oversaw and implemented the operational planning and development for many community programs including intergenerational childcare and adult day -health-care. He brings valued expertise in marketing, finance and management to Or Chadash. His strong interpersonal skills will allow him to work well with members of our congregation.
