PET BLESSING

Celebrate the companionship and
special bond we share with our pets. Bring your pets who are people and
animal friendly for a pet parade and a special blessing by Rabbi Louchheim.
At the parade, we will be giving prizes to the largest, smallest and most
unusual pets.
This event is hosted by Or Chadash
and organized by Bar Mitzvah student, Matthew Rein as part of his Mitzvah
project.
Tax-deductible donations can be made
to purchase bullet and stab resistant vests for police K-9s by checks made
payable to "Protect Police K-9" and sent to

GEFILTE FISH DRIVE
BY JFCS
JFCS is asking for donations of gefilte fish for those less fortunate during
Passover. Please drop off your donations to Or Chadash during office hours in
the month of March.
You can also make cash/check donations to Or Chadash (please mark in the
memo: Gefilte Fish Drive) so we can purchase gefilte fish for JFCS.
OPERATION ELIJAH
Reach out to members of our community who do not have a place to go for
Passover Seder. The JCRC and Outreach Connections will be pairing people with
volunteer households for the first night of Passover, which is on Monday,
March 29th. If you are interested in volunteering your home or need a home
for the first night of Passover, please contact Tremia Cox, 577-9393 ext.

SEDER

5:45 p.m. at the JCC (3800 E. River Rd.)
Celebrate Passover with Or Chadash at our 2nd Seder. The 2nd Night Seder will be conducted by
Congregation Or Chadash under the guidance of Rabbi Thomas Louchheim and
Cantor Janece Cohen and hosted by the Tucson JCC.
The cost will be $36.00 per person
for members of the JCC and Congregation Or Chadash, and $45.00 per person for

HOMER DAVIS AFTER SCHOOL HOMEWORK SUPPORT PROGRAM - This month the
Jewish Community is teaming up to kick-off an event to help an extremely
impoverished community. Represent Or Chadash and be a committed weekly
volunteer to provide homework support after school at Homer Davis. WILL
YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE? Together we can truly improve the quality of
life and education of the students and families of Homer Davis Elementary
