MITZVAH PROJECTS FROM OUR B'NEI MITZVAH STUDENTS
PAYTON RUDNICK SUPPORTS PEACE PASSERS
BY COLLECTING SOCCER GEAR FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED KIDS
Payton Rudnick is celebrating becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, May 28th. As part
of his Mitzvah project, he began collecting soccer balls in August 2010. In just two
months, Payton had already collected an astounding 70 soccer balls, 140 jerseys, 31
shorts and $1062.00 in donations by November 2010.
Support the underprivileged youth in the world by donating old or new soccer gear

worthwhile project that has personal meaning to me. A

Gabe Lehrer is celebrating becoming a Bar Mitzvah on March 5th. As part of his Mitzvah Project, he is raising funds for LEAD Guitar. Lead Guitar - making music, changing lives. Lead Guitar is a program that provides lessons and performance opportunities for students and teachers living in low income, high risk communities. It's a fact...student who participate in school music programs have better attendance, make better gades, and are more likely to attend college and have more lucrative careers on average than students who do not participate in school music programs. Support the Mitzvah Project and the community by attending the concert or by making a donation to Lead Guitar.

Lily Peters is celebrating becoming a Bat Mitzvah next Fall and is getting an early start on her Mitzvah project in order to have enough time to harvest. She is working with a non-profit organization, Iskash*taa (www.fruitmappers.org).Click here to visit the Iskash*taa website. If anyone has surplus fruit that needs to be harvested, please call Lily at 219-4454 and we will come and pick it up, or just bring it to the office and we will bring it to Iskash*taa.
Zoe Weintraub celebrated her Bat Mitzvah on December 18th. As part of her Mitzvah Project, she is selling Time Capsule boxes for the Jewish History Museum. Each box is $50 and you can put anything you would like that fits in the box for those people that open the time capsule 100 years from now.
