Adult Education SeriesAn exciting, informative and thought provoking adult education series, bringing different aspects of the Jewish connection to the land and country of Israel. Join the discussion - talk Israel! Held at Congregation Or Chadash Community Room monthly from Nov. 30th thru March 21st (with the exception of the program on January 25th). CONVERSION AND BASIC JUDAISMIf you are interested in exploring Judaism, including Interfaith couples, those considering conversion, and Jews looking for adult-level basics, then this is the class for you!
Once a month, Rabbi Louchheim introduces the fundamentals of Jewish thought and practice. Topics include Jewish holidays and life cycle events, theology and prayer, Israel, history and Hebrew. There will be monthly group meetings, phone conversations and private meetings with the Rabbi. The cost is only $36.
The class meets on Sunday afternoons from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Or Chadash. Bring a sack lunch.

ADULT BAR AND BAT MITZVAH
If you never got the chance to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, or you did become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah as a teenager and you still have a desire to learn about Judaism, then this is the class for you!
Rabbi Louchheim and Cantor Cohen have started a course that meets twice a month to study theology, spirituality, Hebrew, and Jewish texts. You will have a chance to examine the way you can incorporate Judaism into your everyday lives. The cost is $52 for all classes.
The class meets on Thursday afternoons from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at
Or Chadash. Bring a sack lunch. PLEASE NOTE TIME CHANGE.
